Come out and watch a class from Start to Finish if you are interested in becoming a student or just curious.
Recommended class to watch
(Kids) Thursday 6pm - 7pm
(Adults) Friday 7pm-8pm.
After watching a class, you are welcome to begin New Student Orientation class on Friday from 6pm - 7pm. Once you become proficient with basic Judo skills, you will be able to start attending other classes.

Since
- Shinko Shin Judo in Berea Kentucky was established February 11, 2011. Our purpose is to teach both the Sport and the Art of Judo in a safe controlled environment.
- Sensei Ward is a Nationally Certified 5th Degree Continental Judo Coach with USA Judo and USJA.
- Shinko Shin Judo practices in the Gathering Place located next to Glades Christian Church, 530 Glades Road, Berea Kentucky 40403 in the long white building.
Students
- Shinko Shin Judo strives to teach Judo to everyone who wants to learn regardless of Age, Size, Shape or other factors.
- A willingness to learn and to grow is what is required for students of Shinko Shin Judo. New students from 3 1/2 years old and up are welcome.
- Not Recommended for students with back injuries or back problems.
- Tuition and Fees are very Affordable with low startup costs.
- PAL Club and special extremely low rates for First Responders.
Rates
- Standard Student rate - $30 per month.
- Student who attends a church - $15 per month.
- Family Rate for 2 or more - $50 per month.
- Family Rate who attends a church - $30 per month.
- Police, EMS, Fire and other first responders $5 per month.
- Police Athletic League Club.
- Members of Glades Christian Church are free.

General Information
- Shinko Shin Judo aka TeachMeJudo.com is housed at Glades Christian Church in the Gathering Place.
- Shinko Shin Judo is an organization dedicated to teaching both the sport and art of Judo while adhering to Christian values.
- Shinko Shin Judo is registered nationally with both the United States Judo Association and with USA Judo.
- Shinko is Japanese for "Faith".
- Shin is Hebrew for "God" short for Shaddai שַׁדַּי .
- Shinko Shin means "Faith in God".
Flow of Each Class
- Everyone bows in together to start class - Traditional Judo.
- Students have warm-up Stretch and Exercise period.
- Halfway thru each class is a short mandatory water break.
- After break, a 5-minute instructor lead devotional.
- Students are not required to speak during devotional but must be in attendance.
- At the end of class, students have cool-down stretches.
- After cool-down stretches, everyone lines up.
- Instructor takes any prayer requests and prays for everyone.
- The group of students bow out of class together - Traditional Judo.
